The department has two openings in mathematics and one in statistics.

Saint Louis University, a Catholic, Jesuit institution dedicated to student learning, research, health care, and service, is seeking applicants for two tenure-track faculty positions at the level  of Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science. Area of emphasis is mathematics.  The positions will begin August 2012.  Applications received by 12/1/2011 are assured full consideration. 

 

Ph.D. required in mathematics or a related area. The department seeks candidates with outstanding potential in both research and teaching, who will contribute to the overall strength of the department.  Duties include maintaining an active research program and teaching both undergraduate and graduate courses, with eventual participation in the supervision of master's theses and doctoral dissertations.  The department currently consists of twenty-eight faculty members whose research areas include algebra, analysis, geometry, topology, computer science and statistics.
